Guess WHAT!
We went down to Anchorage to see the lung Doctor. We were there and he took Koa off Oxygen while we talked and the doctor listened to his lungs. He said that he was impressed how well Koa's lungs sounded. He said when we get home to take Koa off Oxygen and monitor him for 2 weeks. If Koa doesn't make it off. Its okay. That there are ways to get him off. So we are monitoring Koa a lot. He is doing really good so far. We go back to Anchorage in May to see the lung doctor, heart doctor to make sure that his heart isn't being over worked, now that he is off. we are also gonna see the eye doc and the surgeon.
Thank you everyone for all the support and prayers.
love

What a wonderful thing to have that nasal canula gone! Growing is this boy's best trick. Happy 1st Birthday, Koa! We're so glad you are here for everyone to love.

THe pictures are beatiful to see him without his nasal canula. He looks like he is enjoying the outdoors so much. Can't wait to see him up close this summer. I have been sick so we will not be seeing you too soon though. Uncle Mike graduates on May 13th from UAF-we hope to have a get-together that day or the next week. Take care and love you Aunt Lori
