Koa's first feeding today!
This afternoon Koa received his first feeding. We were so excited. It is predigested milk, they water it down to make sure he can handle the food. I got to change Koa's diaper all by myself, it was so cool.
Tomorrow Jeremiah and I might be able to hold Koa again. We talked to the Doctor tonight and he said that he is seeing progress and improvement. Also Koa is lying on his back so his head can round out better.

OMG!!!! I had so much fun seeing you guys this weekend, i was really happy dad and i got down there, i was thinking about how Koa was going to have his first feeding the whole way home:)I hope that Micheal and i can make a trip down when school is over, but i dont think we will know for sure untill it gets closer to that time... I can tell you hope good it was to see you and Jere, i missed you guys sooo much, and seeing koa was amazing. I love you guys:)
What a wonderful way to start the day hearing Koa is being fed and doing well. Happiness Courtnie is changing your baby's diaper that's great. To hold him must be the most wonderful feeling in the world. Please tell him how much we love him and you two and give him a cuddle from us. Hello to all of you. I've been thinking of you all everyday and sending good thoughts. What happy news to hear that Koa will be getting his first feeding and that Courtnie got to change his diaper. Amazing how such little things make our hearts sing. Thank you for taking the time to keep us all updated on what is happening. I start my day, everyday by checking in to see the latest news. I've been keeping track each and every day, trying not to feel anxious when the daily news reports weren't posted. Praise God Praise God! Koa is truly on his way! I was so excited to read about him getting to have real groceries! I have to tell you from my own experience with a son....it is only the begining :) Once they figure out food - the rest is hystory lol :) Courtnie, my heart did a flip when I read you changed Koa's diaper all by yourself. A proud day in every new mother's life. I will smiling all day at the thought of major progress happening in Koa's life. Thanks for all the wonderful updates! David and I will bein Anchoarge the latter part of the week (prolly Thurs, Friday, Sat) We sure hope to spend some time you with you guys! Love Auntie Angel
That is wonderful news to hear that Koa is getting some "real" food. Look out now, he will probably start really putting on the pounds! :-) Good for him! Hang in there guys, your doing good! And hope Jeremiah is feeling better? Hugs to all!!!

Oh that is sooo exciting!! I am so glad that Koa got some real food, he will pack on allot more wieght being able to eat real food.
It's even more exciting Courtney got to change his diaper today. I am so glad things are looking up. We will continue to pray and thank God for all he has given you and ask him to keep you and Koa on this road of success.
