Well where do we start, We are so Thankful for everything!

Well we just got back from Anchorage. Koa had 4 doctors to go see. The 1st was the lung doctor and he said that Koa doesnt need oxygen. But keep some tanks around until he gets through his first bad cold. 2nd was the heart doctor to make sure that his heart wasnt being over worked now that he is off Oxygen. And that went really good, She said that his heart looks good. That there is no signs of problems. We have to follow up with her in 6 months. 3rd doctor was the surgeon and Koa surgery is scheduled for June 21st. And that it will be about an hour and the he doesnt need to spend the night at the hospital, because he is off oxygen. 4th doctor was the eye doctor and he said Koa might be one of the lucky ones that doesnt need glasses. And that the reason why he is so sensitive to the sun is because he has blue eyes and that he needs to go fishing and hunting more.

So all of our appointment's went AWESOME. We are so thankful for everything. God is so great.

We had a blast in Anchorage. We took Koa by the NICU to see the nurses and doctors they were so happy to see Koa. They couldnt believe how big he is, and how much he looks like Jeremiah.

Koa is still 18lbs and 2ozs. He is 27 inches long. and is very busy. He is pulling himself up on things. We had to lower his cribs. Koa is one motor mouth.

Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support that you have given Koa n us.

We love you all so much.

Love

Koa, Jeremiah and Courtnie Bachert

What great news from the medical support team! Has anyone not mentioned how much Koa looks like Jeremiah? Amazing likeness. Those Bachert genes must be pretty strong. Hope you will be bringing him to the lower 48 sometime soon.
