Koa's feeding are going good

Koa is tolerating the feedings good so far. So he should be able to start gaining weight. Today was an ok day for little Koa he seemed to be very touchy again and just wanted to sleep. Tonight he started to get a little better with his oxygen saturation. But was still not liking to be looked at or messed with. To day I was supposed to be able to hold Koa. But between him not wanting to be touched and the NICU being under staffed with tech's,and getting very busy with 3 new arrivals I didn't get to hold him today. But I'm sure that I will get to tomorrow or the next day. I think it was Gods way of saying not to day so I'm good with that in mind that God knows what's best. Today Courtnie, Crystal and Brittany all went to a nail place to get there feet pampered and have some relax time. Crystal is Courtnie's cousin who just had a baby girl that is doing great. Brittany is the other mom that is in the NICU with us. Her son is buddy's with Koa. courtnie's aunt and uncle Sims were in town this week end as well as my Dad and Sister Rachel.
thank you all again for your love and prayers.
thank you God for every day and for answering all of the prayers from our friends, family and us.
we love you all,
Koa, Courtnie and Jeremiah Bachert

So happy Koa tolerated his first feeding and will be gaining weight. So glad you have the patience to know when the right time is to hold Koa He certainly is letting you know how he feels too. The little man has a mind of his own and shows it! I'm sure Courtnie enjoyed her pampering and she deserves it too! God is listening and we'll keep praying.
Glad you're feeling better too. Love you lots - Grtgrm & Grtgrp C.

Jeremiah, Courtney and Koa-

I am glad Courtney got to go out and get pampered.. I am sure it was hard for her to feel like she deserved it when all of her focus is on Koa. But she DOES deserve it and need it. So do you Jeremiah.. now I'm not going to say you need a pedicure, but then again whatever makes you happy. :-)
I am glad you are so patient with Koa and knowing when the time isn't right for holding him... things will continue to get better. We are all praying for you and Koa and everyone else whose ever been in a situation like yours.
Thanks for always keeping us informed on the newest events.. I hope little Koa gains weight well with being fed and continues to handle it well.

Lots of Love-
Niki, Dave and Zack
