Koa had a big day
One of the doctors thought that the infection could have came from a urinary track infection. So they wanted to do a ultra sound of his bladder and stuff. To make sure that he didn't have something called reflux. So koa needed to have a catheter put in. But he peed it out and they put a second one in and he peed that one out when he was in the procedure. They saw that he was fine in that department. But he was pretty fussy today. We kind of expected it though being he had the catheter put in twice. Koa is still eating good but isn't gaining weigh so they upped his calories again to 26. So we are hoping that he will gain some weight. I asked them if he could just get more volume and they said that they aren't doing that because they don't want him to have the fluid because of his lung history.

Again catching up on Koa and what has been happening. He really has a lot of stamina to put up with everything that has taken place.Thank you for all the information you pass along.Courtnie you are doing a great job and your instincts are right on target keep up your mothers intuition as to what is happening with Koa you know him and what he needs.That helps the staff when you let them know how you feel about what is happening with that little man of yours.Love you three very much and our prayers are with you every day.Love & hugs Greatgrandma & Greatgrandpa C
