Koa weighed 11pounds 7ounces yesterday

Not to much to say for this week. Other than Koa went to His first b-day party for his mom. Courtnie is 21 now. And Koa got a round of shots. NOT those Kind of shots the Kind of shots that babies get to keep them from getting sick. And he did good with them. Also we are starting to turn his oxygen down it should be a very slow process so that Koa can get used to the changes we are hoping to have him off of it some time in the next 3 months. Well thanks again for all of the prayers and support.
Thank you God for taking care of all of us and keeping us safe and well.
We love all of you
Koa Courtnie and Jeremiah Bachert
PS here are some of the new pictures and tricks Koa is learning.

Well you just have the cutest little man on your hands. It's truely amazing to me how much he's grown and how well he is doing.
I must say again that I am just sooo proud of all three of you, you've done so well with all you've been handed and it's truely an amazing thing.
I hope that Courtney had a very happy 21st birthday. I remember my 21st being special too.
I love the photo of Koa getting Miahs nose, I have a simular photo of Zack getting my nose while I was laying on the floor in our apartment in washington.
Please take care of yourselves and know that our family is always thinking of you.

Love-

Niki, Dave, Zack and soon to be Derek (10 more days!!)

I am embarassed to say it has been a while since I have made it to your blog-site! BUT I am overjoyed in seeing that this little warrior is finally home. he looks so healthy and so strong and you never know...that oxygen could come off a lot sooner than you think. I am continuing to pray for Koa (even though I can't check out the website as often anymore). I often remember all that my son has gone through and went through when I think of Koa! Koa is absolutely adorable! God Bless. Erin Wright
