Koa is about the same as yesterday,

Koa is doing pretty good. He is the same as yesterday in the vent. No big changes yet.
He really doesnt like being on his back. Its funny he knows how to get his way with the nurse. He just starts alarming all of the alarms. Then they move him back to his tummy. They are going up in calories in the milk from 22 calories to 23 calories. So thats a change. He looks really good. Now they are trying to shape is head. For he doesnt have a halibut head. But he isnt tolerating that to well. they have a donut thing that put his head in. He cant be on his tummy. and he has to be still. So they are just waiting for when he can tolerate being on his back for longer period of time. Other than that he is doing good!
Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support.
Thank you God for everything that you have done for Koa and Us!
Love
Koa, Jeremiah and Courtnie

I'm laughing so hard at Ak Angel's comment, I have tears in my eyes. It is fascinating that Koa has such a personality at such a young age and already knows how to get his way. Way to go Koa!!! I'm thrilled things are going well for all of you down there. Jan

Jeremiah Courtney and Koa-

I would imagine it would be hard for him to understand why in goodness name they are putting a big thing around his head... he's probably not very found of it. Plus laying on your tummy is always better :-D. Haha, well he will get used to his back soon enough.
I am glad to hear things are steadily improving. I hope things continue to get better and better for all three of you.
Take care and know our love and prayers are with you all-

Hey Ak-angel...whats the matter with halibut??? Its much better and more expensive than doughnuts. If you had a halibut head your eyes would always be looking towards the light coming from above and you wouldn't be bothered by the dark slime below! :)

The continued good news of Koa brings more sunshine to my heart than even the springtime daylight does.

Love all of you,
Dad

Shoot - I was going to make a joke about having a "halibutt head" and someone already did it. I also had to chuckle when I read what Leah wrote. Isn't it nice that we have so much to be happy about and so much to be thankful for. Thinking of you constantly with my love.
