Another good day for Koa

So today Koa did good and seemed to enjoy the pranking on April fools day. It seemed like every time the nurses would walk away he would either hold his breath and "sat" low or "sat" high and as soon as they would come back he would go right back to being good. So over all Koa had a good day and kept the nurses on there toes. Me I was like oh no there is another one of me. Or should I say another one of us uncle Ray, papa Tom and papa Sherman. So world beware there is a new little tear. Just ask his nurses today. But I think that its back to that old sang boys will be boys. The doctors are weaning Koa off of the morphine and he should bee off of that by 2:00am. This is a great step for Koa because it is just one step closer to getting off of the ventilator. They upped his feedings again so he should continue to grow more and more.
my friend bill is here for a couple of days so he was able to meet Koa.
well good night to everyone and thanks again to every one for your prayers and support.
we love you all,
Koa, Courtnie and Jeremiah Bachert

Jeremiah, Courtney and Koa-

Hahaha.. Koa sounds like he's got personality to boot. They always say your children are your pay back... so just you wait Jeremiah... when he's about 10 years old to about 20 years old you are gonna have your hands full. And poor Courtney doesn't deserve that!! Haha well I am sure Courtney has done her share of mischief as well.. :-D.
I am glad to hear things are still progressing and moving in a positive direction. It always makes my day to hear Koa had a good day the day before.
We love you and are thinking of you often and praying for you daily.

Love-

Niki, Dave and Zackarie

Hi Courtney, Jeremiah, and Koa - ran into your Mom and Shelby Ann yesterday and learned about how you are doing. So happy to hear you are getting great care there, that you are so strong and positive, and that your precious baby is getting stronger very day too. We keep you in our prayers and look forward to seeing you soon. With love, The Davila Family - Carol, Stephen, Katie, and Hannah.

Just remember, what goes around, comes around and I'll be there to 'help' him with the jokes. I'm glad Koa is doing well. Tell him to keep eating. Wrestling weight and practice in 10 yrs.....
