Koa is doing good
So today Koa seemed to still be getting better. Today he was able to start getting breast milk so that was a great step forward. courtnie has been able to hold him for 3 days in a row, she is supper happy about that. The lab work came back and Koa has an infection that is being treated. So we pray that it will go away. He seems to be growing pretty good. He is 13.5 inches long and is about 2 lbs 2oz. But other than the infection in his lungs he seems to be doing good. So we will just keep praying that Koa gets stronger and that the infection clears up.

Good morning - Koa gaining weight and taking breastmilk is a giant step in the right direction. Hopefully the infection will clear-up quickly and he'll be feeling a lot better with the nourishment he is getting. What good news for everyone. Pray the infection goes away and Koa keeps gaining weight. So glad to hear he is getting breast milk since that has so many things he needs to keep grwoing and gaining strength. WOW he weighs over 2lbs now YAHOOOO!. I am excited Koa is growing well. That breast milk sure does help.. heck any formula will help him grow.
It's sad he has the infection but it sounds like you caught it early on and hopefully it isn't to serious. I know anything is serious when he's so small though. We will pray he heals up from the infection in no time at all and continue to pray for your strength and for little Koa.
