Koa is doing good

Koa yesterday slept most of the day. He only would cry if he was wanting to get held or if he wanted to get his diapper changed. Koa is growing and sleeping. The nurse last night said that he is showing signs of being ready to start bottle feeds. But they might wait until the intestine surgery is done. So that we take one step at a time.
Thank you all for your prayers and support.
Thank God for every day that we have had and for guiding the doctors and us in Koa's care.
We love you all and thank all of you again.
Koa, Courtnie and Jeremiah Bachert

Good thing he is taking it easy with surgery possibly looming in the horizon. Taking things one day at a time is a good thing. It is best to not rush into anything, He has made it this far and he is doing well. He needs things slowly and then he will do well. Love to you all and give a kiss to my great nephew from Aunt Lori and all.

Jeremiah, I sure enjoy reading your posts on here. And it was great seeing Courtnie this evening. I only wish that you and Koa could have been here too. That will happen before you know it! It is a great job the two of you are doing with your little guy. None of us have had the exact same experience as you are enduring with Koa and no baby comes with an instruction manual. You just do the best you can as you go. Any of us can look back and say what we could have or should have done differently. But we ask God for guidance and do the best we can. You are fine parents. I have nothing but the deepest respect for both of you. Take care of one another and of Koa. Love, Jan
