Koa slept all day again.

This afternoon the infection doctor came by and took him off of the antibiotic for the meningitis. We also talked to the surgeon on Monday and he said that will put Koa on the Scheduled for Tuesday and on Saturday he will look at Koa. To see if he is ready or not. If he is, the surgery will be on Tuesday this coming week. If he is not it will be the following week.
Other than that they upped his calories in the milk from 20 cal to 22 cal. Koa is still on the nasal canula.
Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support.
Thank you God for working in our lives.
Love
Koa, Jeremiah and Courtnie

Glad to hear he is doing better and is still on nasal cannula instead of c-pap. We will be praying he is well enough to handle the surgery on Tuesday. Hopefully all our prayers will help the dr's make the right decision. Love you all and Keep smiling Koa. Aunt Lori and all.

The pictures from the previous post show one handsome boy.

Is the surgeon that performed th original surgery (Jolly ?) back from being gone? Is he the one which will be evaluting Koa;s readiness and the one performing the surgery?

Go Koa, Grow !!!

Love all you guys,
G. Mohawk

I hope Koa is strong enough to handle the surgery on Tuesday. It does sound like he's grown allot. Hopefully he will put on another half pound or so before the surgery. The more wieght on him the better.
We will be saying some extra prayers that the doctors have guidence in the surgery and deciding whether or not Koa is ready for it.
We are thinking of you-

We are hoping the Dr.s are very sure that the surgery should be done at this time.Somehow you would think that time would be on Koa's side so he could gain weight and be older. But then we are not Dr.s and pray they are not rushing things. We know this must be nerve wracking but keep your faith in God and Koa has a strong constitution to have come through everything up to now.Take care of yourselves too and pray, we know you are and have been throughout this whole time. God bless, give Koa a little kiss and hug from us.
