Koa weighs 6lb 8oz!(water weight)
Koa is doing good. Today his was having a little problem with the ventilator tube. He just wasn't getting comfortable. So they are talking about taking him off. But the only thing is that he cant go to c-pap cause it puts to much pressure on his intestines. He would have to go straight to the nasal canal. Which I feel he is ready for. But they might not do it until Sunday. Its still up in the air.
Koa is still pooping, not as much. The surgeon said he wasn't to wait a couple more days before feeding him again. I feel the same way. Just to make sure that everything is good.

Sounds like he is ready to get that vent away again after not having to have it for so long. We are happy that everything is progressing like it should. Sound lilke he is trying to make his own decision again on what he wants and doesn't want. IT also sounds like the doctor is taking it slowly to give his intestines time to heal. Great news. He is so handsome and you guys are doing a fantastic job with him Keep it going and breathe!!!!Love Aunt Lori and all
Again good news. So glad you and the Dr. can see just what the little man wants and needs. Hopefully the vent can come off and he can manage on his own,another step in the right direction. Sending our love and wishing Jeremiah a very Happy First
