Today Koa's tummy will get fixed

This morning Courtnie and I went to talk to the surgeon and doctor to find out weather they were going to do the surgery today or wait. Koa's vitals all seemed to be doing good his blood sugar is up and down but other than that he seems to be doing ok. The surgeon came in to asses weather to do the surgery and decided to do it today between 2 and 5 pm. They would have done it earlier but there was a baby being born with its intestines on the outside of its body. I am thankful that I didn't have to endure that situation. And will pray for that baby and its parents. Well it might be a long night so I am going to take a little nap and get rested up.
thanks again for all of the love and prayers from every one.
Love
Koa, Courtnie and I

Jeremiah, Courtney and little Koa-

I just signed up for this so I could write you a note and let you know that we are thinking of you and your family so much. Everyday I wonder and pray and even Dave, who normally never prays, says that he's been praying that little Koa will get through this and be a big healthy strong boy, just like his daddy. I am praying for you guys and I just can hope that because God has let you get this far that he will get you through the rest of it. They always say he never gives you more than you can handle, and I am sure there have been times in the last few weeks that you have felt he's pushing his luck, but I know how strong you are and I am so glad that Courtney has you because you will take such good care of her and Koa and I know you will be their backbone.
I wish I had more to give you and Courtney to help.. but Dave and I are getting married in 5 weeks and moving out of state in 7 weeks.. and we also just found out we are pregnant again and due sometime in October... if we we're I would be giving all of Zacks baby toys to your mom to hold until you and Koa and Courtney come home safe.
I know you have probably heard this a thousand times but if there is ANYTHING at all that we can do, even if it's just sending a bit of money to help pay the bills or sending something you need while your there please just let us know. I would love to help in any way that I can...
Sending you lots of love and prayers for all of you-

Niki, Dave and Zack

Hey there. You three are in our thoughts and prayers. Tammy will be there in Anchorage on Thursday. I believe she is planning to come to the hospital to say hello. Sorry that I cannot make it as I am in Prudhoe at work. If you are all still there on 03/13 I will stop by as I will be in Anchorage for part of the day for an orientation with a new employer. We hope that everything goes well. Tom and Tammy Rasmussen
