Koa is about the same.
Koa is doing pretty good. He is still on the vent. He's about 24%-30% all day. Even on his back. We were all impressed. They upped his feeding to 6.5cc an hour and upped to 23 calories. So he is doing good with all that. I talked to the nurse practisioner tonight and asked her when she thought Koa was going to be off the vent. She said when they feel good about it or when he shows that he is ready. She said that they will review all of his progress these last few days and talk to the Doctors and the nurse who has had him. So will see. She said it could happen tomorrow or in the next couple weeks.
Koa has the cutest blonde hair, and its curly!

I am so happy to hear that Koa has been getting better and that the Docs are increasing his feedings. I remember that feeling. It's wonderful. I can't wait until you guys tell the rest of us that he is off the vent. I am continuing to keep you 3 in my prayers. Day H (Anelalani's mom)
He is maintaining and that is good. He seems to be doing well on the feedings and is even getting better about his back laying. All the news is positive. Any day now you will be able to go see him and he will be off that vent. We are praying for him and hope he keep doing well. All our prayers and hugs too. Aunt Lori and all.
So happy to hear he's tolerating being on his back better. And his feedings are going well too. He sure knows what he is doing and his determination is AWSOME!!!Soon he'll let them know - NO MORE VENT.
