No improvements today
Koa had a lot done to him today. They had to put a central line in. Last night he went through 3 IV's. They weren't staying in. Then they did more test to see whats going on. We got the blood tests back and it shows no infections. We are still waiting on the pee tests. His ultra sound that was done last night was good.
I talked to the doc he said we really need Koa to gain weight. He wants him at 1200 grams in the next few days. Right now he is at 1040 grams.

that seems like alot of weight for such a little guy to gain so fast...but i guess its now different than how much babies normally put on in the last month or so right? I hope things start turning around.love you guys

Koa is cooperating with the Dr's.and together they have made progress even with the ups and downs.Guess they have to try all kinds of different things til they hit on the best one for him. Every day is a milestone.Wish we could be there with you but you know our hearts and prayers and love are always there with you.Love & hugs

Jeremiah, Courtney and Koa-
I will say a few extra prayers today that little Koa gains the wieght he needs. It is hard when he's so small but the Doctors are right... he needs to get bigger so he is stronger like his pappy.
I am sure Koa will pull through this as well. He's already done so well through everything. We are very proud of all 3 of you and think of you daily.
I will send Koa the wieght I am gaining, he needs it more than me :-)
