Koa had to go back on the ventilator...

This morning around 11am Koa had to go back on the ventilator. He was working really hard. Now he seems to be doing better. But he still is fighting it. So we hope we can hold him off until Thursday. Then he can go on the c-pap. We will see.
They haven't started the feedings yet. They are waiting to see what happens with the vent.
Koa lost a little weight. Which is really good. He gained 1lb of water weight. So hopefully that will start coming off.
Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support.
Thank you God for helping Koa do is best off the vent.
Love
Koa, Jeremiah and Courtnie

Terry and I went camping this weekend, so I missed all of the daily updates. So today I want to wish Jeremiah a belated Happy Father's Day! The best fathers are the ones who take time with their kids by reading to them, playing with them and just being with them, so you know that you're at the top of the list because you already do all of those things. Congratulations on all of the accomplishment so far and for you and Courtnie sticking together during these difficult months in the hospital. That would be hard for any of us and you two have been parents that Koa will always look up to and be proud of when he tells the story of his early days on this earth. Keep up the great work! Love, Jan

Sorry it's been so long, I wanted to remind you guys that we think of you daily and anytime I run into someone that knows you I give them the web address so they can show you their support too.
I hope Koa starts feeling better soon and can work his way back up to being off the vent. The little guy has been through allot, as have you two.
We love you all and you're always in our prayers-

Niki, Dave and Zack
