Some new pics of the little man

The big pumpkin in the pictures is a 107 pound pumpkin and the little one Koa's Grandma and Grandpa Bachert grew in there garden.

Koa weighed 12 pounds 5 ounces last Friday

So things have been a little crazy for the last couple of weeks. Koa is Doing great and is growing like a weed. Last week he saw one of the doctors from the Anchorage. The appointment went great Koa was able to get off of 2 of his medicines and we are able to give him a new formula in stead of the pre digested formula that he has been on since we left the hospital. We also found out that Koa can start eating baby food and rice cereal with formula. So yesterday we fed him his first baby food and he seemed to like it a lot and was very happy that he was able to eat with a spoon like his dad. ( he watched me eat my dinner and Courtnie and I got a kick out of it) One funny thing he did was Courtnie thought that he was done so she took the spoon away form him and he opened his mouth wide and looked at us like hey what is the deal with that. Koa has also figured out how to role him self onto his stomach but cant get back to his back yet. He is standing if you help him up and hold his hands or he has something to hold on to. Koa seem to get more and more observant every day and loves to play Peek-a-boo with his mom and I.
At the start to this month our friend Wanda with the help of out families and friends and some local businesses set up a spaghetti feed fund raiser for us it was very nice and it helped us out a lot. We would like to say thanks to every one for helping us out and we will never forget the friends and family that we have.
We also need to thank Dermot Cole of the Fairbanks daily news miner for the write ups that he as put in for two fund raisers that we have had.
Thanks again for every thing, all of the prayers and love that we have been shown.
We love all of you
Koa Courtnie and Jeremiah Bachert
