Koa weighed 11pounds 7ounces yesterday

Not to much to say for this week. Other than Koa went to His first b-day party for his mom. Courtnie is 21 now. And Koa got a round of shots. NOT those Kind of shots the Kind of shots that babies get to keep them from getting sick. And he did good with them. Also we are starting to turn his oxygen down it should be a very slow process so that Koa can get used to the changes we are hoping to have him off of it some time in the next 3 months. Well thanks again for all of the prayers and support.
Thank you God for taking care of all of us and keeping us safe and well.
We love all of you

Koa weighed 11 pounds today

Koa is doing good and is starting to use his legs to push him self up then you hold him in a standing position. He is still very curious of his surroundings looking at any thing with lights or that moves yesterday he was very interested in the TV being that it was the first time he had seen a TV it was cool to see him get so into something like that. We also found that he is very good at telling us when he is tired. I'm not sure who is learning more Courtnie and I or him. I think that he is starting to get some teeth spots on his gums. So that should be another learning experience for Courtnie and I.
Well that's about all for now. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. We love all of you.
Thank you God for allowing Koa and us to be where we are today.
Thanks again,
Koa Courtnie and Me

Koa is getting to be a big little guy

So I haven't been writing much on here SORRY I will try to get a little more into it again now that things have started to settle down a little. Last week end and earlier this week we packed up and went to anchorage thinking that Tuesday Koa was going to need the surgery to fix this hernias . But as we are learning there is always a hitch when it comes to our little guy and he got a little bit of a cold. And was glad to give it to me. So now IM all stuffed up and feeling yucky but I think he is going to beat me in getting over the cold. So the doctors decided that it would be better to wait on the surgery until he was over the cold and feeling good.
when we were in anchorage we went and saw some of the nurses and doctors that took care of Koa and helped him stay in this world. It was a feeling that I cant really explain. It was just cool.
Koa weighed 10 pounds and 10 ounces yesterday and when we were in anchorage we figured out that he is gaining about an ounce a day. It is cool watching him get bigger and bigger and he seems like he gets more and more aware of his surroundings every day. One thing that Courtnie and I love is in the mornings when Koa first wakes up he is full of smiles just happy to see his mommy and daddy. And when he talks with his little goos and gaas it is great.
We thank everyone so much for your prayers and support.
We thank God and the doctors help god make little miracles like Koa happen.
We love you all and thanks again.

Koa is still gaining weight

Koa weighed 9 pounds 13 ounces this week. Koa is doing good as for me I'm hurting I had my wisdom teeth pulled out and it wasn't to bead for the first day but the last 2 days haven't been so much fun. Courtnie has her plate kind of full with 2 big babies she is taking care of now but she is doing a great job with both Koa and I.
Thank you all for your prayers.
Thank you God for Keeping Koa healthy and Helping him to grow.
We love you all,
Koa Courtnie and Jeremiah Bachert
