Some little ups and downs

Yesterday Koa was taken off of the medicine that paralyzes him to stop him from fighting the ventilator. So last night and today had some little downs. As Koa started to come out of the paralyzed he seemed to get scared or mad and start to fight the ventilator. So this made his oxygen saturation go down in his blood and go back up to 100% on the ventilator. Today his blood pressure seemed to go up and down so they had to refined his happy place on his medicine. And continued to try to fight the ventilator. As of tonight he is doing a little more stable but is still at 100% oxygen. But seems to be improving again so we will keep praying to God that Koa continues to get better. Thanks again to everyone for their prayers for Koa and us and the other babies and there parents. Sorry again for the late post had a long day.
we love you all
Koa, Courtnie, and Jeremiah Bachert

Hang in there Koa!!! I know you are a fighter but don't waste your energy fighting the machines that are trying to help you...Save that kind of spunk for when you are a teenager and want to give your old man a hard time. On second thought don't do that either...you have already given him enough of a hard time already.

Love all of you guys.

Hi - Just wanted you to know there isn't a minute that goes by that we aren't praying and hoping that everything is going along as smooth as possible. Koa's Guardian Angel is certainly there with him through everything along with his nurse and of course you two. We know you two talk to him and that has to be the greatest feeling for him because he knows who you are believe me these little ones are wiser than you may think and he's stronger for your love of him. Mightly fighter that he is makes it
all the more amazing with every report that you give to all of us.
Love you THREE very much and send our love - GrtGrandma & GrtGrandpa

Dear Koa,
Try to let the machines do their job so you can do yours-breathe easy little man, try not to use up all that energy now-you will need it later to run around with your mom and dad.
Take care Jeremiah and Courtnie as this was another day your little guy is here to say hello.
Love all of you very much Stay calm and perservere.Love Aunt Lori and Uncle MIke and all.

Hi Courtnie and Jeremiah,
This is Stacy Jimenez, Tim Ruehle's little sister. Your aunt Marion gave me your blogspot address. Koa is a precious little guy and quite a miracle baby! I just wanted to let you know that we have been praying and continue to pray for you guys. God Bless you, and keep the faith! I'm looking forward to meeting Jeremiah and Koa when you guys can make a trip to CA. Take care and know God is with you, and so is the love of family and friends.

Jeremiah, Courtney and Koa-

Well it is good that you are moving forward. I would suspect the Doctors expected and few ups and downs with taking Koa off the medication that keep him still. There are more ups and downs to come but we are all praying the the ups become more than the downs and that the ups happen more often than they have in the past few weeks.
We are thinking of you and praying for you all. I hope Jeremiah is feeling better and able to go see his little Stud muffin soon enough!

Lots of Love-

Niki, Dave and Zack
